This is the whole 9 yards of what happened?

I bought my gf a cell phone and her dad found it.(this was before the whole restraint order) He started looking through it and found this forward message that i accidentally sent her. She was not bothered by it at all. I know her good and i know that she was not. Supposedly the dad got mad and told the police and then he said that he put a restraint order on me. I dont buy it because of the fact that he is using her cell phone to bother my parents and me. That is constantly! Almost like a stalker. What gets me is that why would you keep bothering about something after you have already done it. To me it seems that he is just running his mouth and knows that he hasnt done anything!! but if i do have this restraint order, isn't someone supposed to send me some notification of this? I dont buy the whole restraint order. is there some other way i can see for myself if its true or not? Thanks
