Boyfriend Troubles can anyone help me plz?

My bf has just reacently hurt me. He pushed me away when he did that he hit me in the gut. Then a little later he pushed me down which caused me to land on my hand and it also caused me to hit my lip. So I started bleeding. I still really love him cuz I know he has anger problems. Cuz I have the same problems. So I really love him to death plus we are engaged. Can you tell me what to do cuz I dont wanna leave him cuz I love him that much. He has already said if I wanna leave him he can understand it cuz no one would want someone like him. He thinks he is a woman beater cuz of that. Do you agree with him or not. I would like some real good advise. Could you not give me answers such as "Dump Him" or "Turn him into the cops"
