On Dec.02,2008, my now exboyfriend attacked me.?

We always argued because he was very petty.He always talked down to me,my dad ped last nov.8th 2007,3 to 4 weeks before we met back up with each other.We first met when I was sixteen,he was eighteen,there was ten year gap.I confined my personal and horrible past to him thinking he would be a friend and have my back.Im still hurting over my dad,I have anxiety/panic attacks from being depressed.My grandfather was somehow basically murdered by his girlfriends son and I was devastated,this happened nov.18th,2008.My ex would call me weak,crybaby,bit*h,a clown anything to make me feel bad.While going through the anxiety he would threaten to leave me and yell at me roughly grab me from the floor.He did not work,he blamed his foot being perilized but would ask me for money to get him high off weed.I was rapped by one of my brothers when i was 3 or 4,i remember like yesturday.He threw my past in my face all the time.Just before my dad ped my mom threw me and my daughter(1 at the time) out,she lied to the court about me hitting her and got a restraining order on me just git me out her life.He knew all this.So this tuesday that ped we got into a argument and he called me out my name so I smacked the weed he was rolling up out his hand,it flew all over the bed.Thats when he attacked me down to the floor scratching,pinching,punching me,I tried to call the police be got them first.He lied about the abuse and they did'nt lock either one of us up or check for bruises,my daughter is always home when he attacks me and puts me down.He told me three days ago she looks at me like she wants me ually and she is only 4.I pressed charges,but are they going to lock him up?
