I want to bring labour on!?

My doctor stripped my membraines at 37 weeks, nothing happened and again at 38 weeks, i had my baby within 24 hours, this happened with my first and 2nd child. stripping membraines is a "vigorous" check of your cervix, they check to see how dilated you arwe and if you are dilated they can run their finger between it and the bag of water which irratates the uterus and can cause contractions...from there i walked to get the contractions going more. good luck
